A4B6
Just checked on parkers, which mentioned that a B6 saloon has got 10 speakers as standard. I just want to know if this includes a sub and what does the system sound like? Are there any amps to power it?
Cupramax
Yes, theres a sub under the parcel shelf on the saloon. I'm pretty sure both the standard and BOSE systems are amped.
A4B6
does anyone know the exact locations of the speakers and there RMS wattage?
Cupramax
Output on the standard system is 150w according to the brochure I've got.
eolair
150W rms? or just 150W? if it doesn't say "RMS" then it's likely to be PeaktoPeak, which is RMS x 4, IIRC. Also I think it's only late B6s that came with 10 speakers as standard. Open to correction
UBM
I had 10 speakers in both my A4 saloons - I only have 9 in the avant, but Bose helps!

timps
Also all B6 models use the ‘II’ variants but do not have ‘II’ markings on the front of the head unit so a B6 model will say ‘concert’ on the front but will be in fact a ‘concert II’ concert I are on the B5 model.
