Keegs
Anyone had an issue with the roof seal going on their A4 Cabriolet? Somehow, the roof seal which seals the roof to the top of the windscreen frame has got a split in it and it's leaking water. Audi want £200+ for the part, although it's a seperate part that goes over the door windows and windscreen, you can only by it as a 3 part set for the whole roof! They then want another £300+ to fit it.. does anyone know if you can get replacement parts but not from Audi?
Phantom
My seal was starting to go on the roof of my old cab, the section of rubber at the top edge near the driver's door. There is a small hole in this seal which I think links to a gutter within the window frame. This can sometimes get blocked meaning that water cannot go anywhere else apart from inside the car and drip directly onto the window switches in the door arm rest This should be a warranty replaceable item I would have thought , I think Daz's suggestion in the past was to put a wire coat hanger down the hole to try and clear the blockage.
