Paul
I would say that is way too much, if atmospheric pressure has been deducted. Vag-com needs approximately 1000 mbar or 1 bar deducted from its figures to get true "boost" figure. I know of one car pushing that sort of boost, and its highly modified, in most ways. MTM maps were famous for their boost spikes of 1.7 /1.8 bar and then it dropped off sharply, by which time, the boost spike had given the car the hove and momentum needed to keep going. typical remaps on a S3 are in the 1.4 -1.5 bar boost peak. beyond this and the turbo is working far far beyond its limits and wont last. Paul
not from a users point of view, unless you choose something like the Revo remap and SPS3 , which allows adjustments within a set tolerances.

Paul
If the tuner is able to write/ammend code, then they should be able to adjust it. If they are just a reseller, selling ready made product, ie just uploading someone else's file under licence, then you may need it removing completely. 2.0 bar is way too much boost IMHO, and in no way normal. I would have a chat with your tuner.

Paul
yes thats fine. Panic over. most 225 maps fall in the 1.3 - 1.5 bar range.
