Golfgirl
Had some new wiper blades delivered this morning from VAGParts because I'm sick of mine farting on the screen. I need a bit of help fitting them though. I can see there's a pin that needs to come out to take the old ones off and to hold the new ones in place (the bit that they pivot on) but can't see how to get that pin out. I could probably work it out if I had the time/patience but I'm in a mega rush and haven't really got time to stand there working it out. Any help please? fingermouse
ok pull the wiper off the screen, rotate the top end (the bit that would go nearest the roof) towards the front of the car. so the wiper is now stood effectivly on its end towards the screen. Now the wiper just pulls off the pin. Slot the new one on and rotate back and your done

fingermouse
make sure you have rotated it far enough to clear the black plastic bit on the arm, it should be just over 90 degs that you rotate it.

Dr_Watson
I should change mine soon, they aren't too bad yet though. I take it you can only get them from VAG dealer. What is the normal price for a pair?

Fitting the headlamp protectors was seen as a major step for me but changing the wipers ranked as a major triumph
