Can anyone confirm if it's possible to get a discount on these. I've no trade in and paying cash I think. Also, if anyone can throw any light on availability / order waiting times that would be useful too. I bought a GTI in May so thought it initially best to go back to my roots to see if I could carve out a deal their - they looked after me well first time. The model I'm after is a 140bhp TSI not the 170 version. I assume it's just the mapping that's different as opposed to the supercharger & turbo size. Anyone know? About to be shipped I understand so hoping to take delivery mid Oct. Managed to carve a decent deal with the same sales guy / dealer I bought the GTI from in May - managed to buy for the Auto Express 'aim to pay' price plus some goodies thrown in etc I assume it's exactly the same engine as the 170 model but with a different chip / exhaust?
