Atomic Posted October 10, 2006 Report Share Posted October 10, 2006 Been playing around with my mirror switch trying to get the nearside to dip in reverse... without any luck. However in the process... I managed to turn the switch fully anti clockwise and the Mirrors folded!!! Guess I'm gonna go throught the drivers handbook tonight and look for more features One thing puzzles me though... why have folding mirrors if they dont dip in reverse, are they separate features? PsYcHe Posted October 10, 2006 Report Share Posted October 10, 2006 Mine too... On a '98 4.2QS. Mirrors fold and if it's turned to the 'L' and you pop it in reverse the mirror dips. A bit disconcerting until you get used to it. Didn't realise I had them until I read a post here the other day. Ska Posted October 10, 2006 Report Share Posted October 10, 2006 Hmm.. suppose you could tap the circuit for the total closure feature when you hold down the locking button to close the windows and sunroof remotely. Just keep holding down the 'lock' button on the key until the windows and sunroof have closed.
