Sparky
You're kidding?! Noooo! I wanted BLACK, not some purple effort! I've seen the yellow FR. Too pale for my liking. Not a proper yellow. Red it nice though.
Snoopy
You did not like the one at the motorshow? Only has a purple tinge in strong light. Info could be totally wrong though.
Sparky
I wasn't a big fan of the one at the motorshow (colour). I'd need to see it in daylight - perhaps all the lights were making it appear different. What colour would you go for?
Snoopy
I quite like silver luna gray iirc. But i did like that black at the motorshow, but it would be a PITA to keep clean.
Sparky
Now that looks sweet!!! Love those wheels even more in that picture. We've got a black leon already and it is a pain to keep clean.

Snoopy
Update on the SEAT website LINK Options are more or less as FR so dealer says. Also talk of Brembos may not been standard as the R32 sourced brakes are out performing them!!!

Snoopy
If you meen brakes then Golf R32 sourced units like the rest of europe is getting. They were going too and still might fit brembos in this market like they did with the previous Cupra R. More testing is underway so im told. (Previous cupra R was the same, brembos standard in UK optional in most of europe) Brembo equipped models production i was told was put back because of the test they were not performing as well as the R32 sourced version. But production of non Brembo models is go. We wait and see about full UK spec and outcome of brembos or no brembos.

Snoopy
Its a damb good photoshop of an FR to Cupra i pinched from another forum It was about the minor tweeks before production Seat want to do from feedback from the press so thats why the grill is black. Sparky
Well, had a good look at the colours. Sadly I don't like any of them. The yellow looks faded (assuming it's the same washed out effort as on the FR?), the black is not black, the Luna gray is too bluey looking and I've had red in my last (current) car, and so not again. Bugger.
Snoopy
Luna gray i thought was just silver the same as the current leon colour?, Im sure thats the colour of my dads previous leon. I know the blueish colour silver i think your on about as theres a few ibizas round here that colour.
Sparky
Oh yeah, I think I got that mixed up. Luna is quite dark, no?
Soulboy
If I didnt have the R - I would definitely go for one of those Looks good, great performance and will be quite rare (my primary reason) and all for under £20k. Whats the depreciation like on Cupras?
Snoopy
Not bad from previous Cupra's not far behind the golfs in % terms, but look at it in £notes terms and you loose less. I still find it funny that at the moment the previous Leon CupraR is selling for more than they cost new a year ago (after seats sell of of them). Snoopy
Think the black is tempting me again You know this car has so many thing i don't like about it for practical reasons mainly the visability but i really don't know why im so bloody tempted by it. Sparky
Because it's so different in styling to everything else that's out/coming out? I don't know either. I've already got a Leon, so why get another one?! Albeit a faster one. That's so not black though...
Snoopy
Could be, I do like the metallic red Leon down the steet A normal ie non cupra Zenith grey leon can be seen on these photos for anyone that wants to know what the colour looks like on a leon. http://s14.photobucket.com/albums/a308/leakyturnip/?start=all
