terrymcg
Hi, Just after some info for my brother, he bought a 51 plate polo which had a crappy kenwood head unit. So he heas bought a Beta headunit by mistake from e bay instead of a Gamma. What are the differences as he tells me they look pretty much the same. He has also bought the single din cd changer which is an ok one i think. Also did VW make any headunits that had a built in single cd? Cheers Terry
mulkbear
Beta head units only have two high power speaker outputs, but the Gamma units have all four high power speaker outputs, As far as i know VW never made a head unit with a built in Single disc player (except the beetle single CD players and the double din models)

Looks like a Beta or a Gamma with a cd slot rather than tape deck. Will check next time i'm in it....
