ACA_Chap
I've got a £1,100 halfords voucher which I don't need and hence want to sell. You can use it to buy up to 2 bikes plus accessories. You are not limited to Halfords bikes as they will order in from any manufacturer. The voucher is in my name so I will have to purchase the bike on your behalf, but you can come with me to the store to take it away brand new and with gaurantee. I had another one and purchased a Giant XTC 2.5 - all went very smoothly.

mb
Is this not salary sacrifice - so you only really save the tax & NI or is it really a free bike ?
Omi
Yup, salary sacrifice... Works out I pay £893 as salary sacrifice, but save in Tax and NI, so it's effectively cost me £550-ish.

Dadstoys
£300 ?
ACA_Chap
I'm sure most of you know, but for those that don't, cycle to work is a tax free way for some employees to buy a bike. I did so, but it's surplus to requirements as I've got a giant xtc in between. I saved 40% income tax and 1% national insurance when buying the voucher, which means it's effectivley cost me 59% of £1,100 or £650. The best offer around that mark by the Monday morning gets the voucher.

ACA_Chap
[ QUOTE ] can you only buy a bike??? and ill offer £475 [/ QUOTE ] You can buy: *Up to two bikes from any brand and accessories, e.g: *Clothing *Lights *Bike rack *Shoes / pedals *Spare tyres / tube *Locks There are two restrictions: You must order the products through me (any brand and I'll go through head office), and you must use if by Feb 07. This can be used on sale items If more than one person shows interest I'll consider splitting the voucher (i.e. buying one bike per person plus accessories)
Cupramax
Hope your scheme isn't like the one my company run where they still own the bike. A couple of clever dicks have been caught out selling their bikes (which are actually company property)
ACA_Chap
I've decided to keep the voucher myself so this item is no longer available. Thanks
