mate 0.1 is no difference - especially as

a) you would never take off in the required driving style to get 0-60 in your own car

b) a non-expert gear change prob makes more difference

I get your point about differentiating the car - that is why they have reworked the plumbing to get the symbolic but fairly pointless extra 6bhp

don't know how everyone is doing but i was in at my dealer in solihull yesterday finalising the spec and what extras i want (actually none - it already seems to have everything i want!)

anyway, he says that all the 160 for the uk are sold already - he has other people on a list who want one but he has only 3 allocated to sell

and the price really is 41,700 - unbelieveable!!

he says porsche are pushing for the specs so that they can start production for march delivery

for sold read "allocated", ie each OPC shoud receive a handful - they don't know how many yet but my local one said they could still get me one last week

and I would consider getting the CD change and Bose as a minimum on top of the otherwise generous spec

160 cars sounds alot until you divide them between 33 dealers (average 4.8 per dealer) then it is no surprise they are gone glad I got in there quick! I think a lot of people that have placed orders may be dissapointed hopefully no one here
