Boost Gauge Installation

Hi,

I've got myself a boost gauge and I need to feed the tube through the firewall on the driver’s side. I've looked hard but can't see anywhere to push it through.

Has anyone installed one or know where to go through into the engine bay.

It's a 2004 A4 1.8T.

yep.... passengers side just beside the battery and just below- there is a large grommet which comes out at top of footwell....you need skinny hands to find it...but its there i tell thee

What gauge did you buy?

I have gone and bought a podi from bloke on Audizine.

Thought I may have to go through passenger side.

MC Hammered? It's an impressive thing to do on your own back but I think it's far too big. Plus you lose steering column adjustment when it's fitted.

I can't see why he bothered, the AWE vent gauge looks far better IMO.

On test fitment of the pod I havent lost too much adjustment on the steering column. Cant push the column right in and at the highest position. But that's it.

When sitting in the car I can't see 20mph. But I can see everything else clearly including DIS.
