All of our family have our fingers crossed at the moment, my brother gets his test results back from a CT scan taken last week. These results will confirm the severity of the cancer and the route that any further treatment will take. Keep fingers crossed for him please. 169144-ok.gif

I really can't describe how I feel at the moment and probably shouldn't celebrate until these results have been confirmed, but feck that, any good news is worth celebrating. Thank you all for reading and responding to this post, it means a great deal. It's been a very trying time over the last few years, my mother and brother both diagnosed with cancer, my father has parkinsons and MS, i'm still recovering from surgery i had earlier this year, my first grand daughter was born just 9 days ago under very stressful (and life threatening) circumstances and its my 40th tomorrow. Let's hope that life really does start then. Thanks again to all who have read and replied. 169144-ok.gif

Latest update. We won't hear any news (confirmation of the cancer being in remission) until 19th June, as the consultants from Burton, Nottingham and Derby all get together on the 17th June and discuss each others cases and give their opinions/thoughts as to treatments, diagnosis and scans etc... Anyway, the way my brother is feeling at the moment just shows what good news does to someone, I suppose it is also due to the fact he has been off the chemo for quite a while now. Thanks again for reading. 169144-ok.gif
