scooby_simon
Chaps, My old dell 8300 has a DVD drive (DELL OEM NEC DVD+RW ND-1100A) that is currently set to single region. Anyone know of a hack that will make it region free ?

pontyslapper
I use DVDIdle Pro - funnily enough on a NEC ND1100A Its so good I paid the registration fee a good while back on a completely different email address and have been able to change email addresses with customer services to allow me to re-reg the software from trial when my PC goes down. I can't fault it. Oh, and it has been updated and seems to cover even more than it used to - I don't even notice when its working, so when I reinstalled about 2 minutes ago, I noticed all the 'new' stuff!! It doesn't affect the firmware or mess with anything either. www.dvdidle.com
