S3Rob
Oh FFS! Please do not tell me even the steering wheel is not exclusive anymore You'll be able to order RS4 badges as part of the s-line package soon.
Cupramax
That'll be a TT wheel...
JohnS3
Agreed, it's in a TT. But will Audi make it an option on other S-Line models and undermine the S brand further..... Time will tell.
Jamiekip
I flamin' well hope not.... it should be reserved for the 'hero' products. Fine across the range on a TT, but outside of that car is should S & RS only!!! Please Audi.... NO!
JohnS3
And another thing while I'm on the rant! Theres a 2.0 TFSI sportback in Sprint blue with RS4 wheels on it sat in my local dealer showroom. So sprint blue is no longer exlusive and the RS4 wheels which Aud wont let you put on an S3 (unless you part with £2000) are now standard on a 5 door model...............Grrrrrrrrrrr. S3Rob
I would imagine that Sportback is a special order colour which must have cost a bit. In fact I'm not so sure it doesn't edge the price of that car very close to an S3 anyway I hope that wheel stays on a TT and isn't offered anywhere else in S-Line. Jamiekip
John - how much are they asking for the sprint blue sportback with 'those' wheels? Got to admit to feeling a little gutted that all alloy options for the S3 we're cost options.... all the original press shots of the S3 we're with the RS4 style wheel.... yet you couldn't even spec it originally in the UK (still not sure if you can????). The line between and s-line products is narrow (visually at least) so let's keep some things exclusive to those paying a premium! Fingers crossed hey!
