loafer27
i'd guess at 1:1 orbits per minute = revolutions per minute ?
Ska
aparently not; on a rotary you get more cutting action for less RPM's and on a dual action like say the PC, speed 6 which equates to around 6000 OPM which is OK in some instatnces to use on your paint but if you ran a rotary at 6000 rpm I think your in trouble, so I'm told
steelwind101
I dont have a rotary but 6000 RPM is way to much from what i have read too!!
BryD
Max you should sensibly run a rotary at is 1500 - 2000 tops, any faster and you'll do nothing more than burn / remove your paint
