Atomic
If you had to fit a standalone DVD player inside the cabin where would you put it? I'm mainly inclined to think up front near in the glove box but dont know if this is practical. Any ideas? Main reasons are (a) to allow changing of the DVD on the move (b) parental control - stop squabbling and © an easy feed to the RNS-D. Botang
Ive got a whole computer in my glovebox, so theres no reason a dvd wont fit. Another location id like to use is under the centre console but above the ashtray
Atomic
Where the aircon resides? or do you mean between the airon and ashtray? I'd happily remove the ashtray if there was space behind to fit it but I do think the glovebox option is more likely. Is it hard to remove? Ska
What above the cubby hole on the right?
Atomic
no, the glovebox. it is easy to remove etc. I'll also need to find switch and perm power (cigie lighter?) and a decent earth.
Atomic
Just checked the glovebox, sure it will fit but it's not going to loo very pretty. Checked the rear fold down armrest - too big for that. Tried to slot it under the front passenger seat, front is blocked so no go. Considering fitting it under the glove box, will check the logistics once it's light again. Also checked between the aircon and ashtray, dont think it's wide enuf :| and it certainly wouldnt look so hot. Currently wondering if theres any way it can be fitted below the rear seats, any ideas? If its narow enough it could be completely stealth above the ashtray
Atomic
It's a sony MV101. Front slot loading, albeit you have to lower a flap. I'm guessing the flap could be removed though... Dimensions: 187 x 70 x 243 mm Piccy: [edit] Just removed the flap with ease - no use of a hammer either
Ska
Are you sure that doesn't fit in the raer armrest? I've got one in there of a similar size.
Atomic
Tried, it's too wide and probably too long.
