Roy32 Posted February 24, 2007 Report Share Posted February 24, 2007 The phirm in churt certainly do fit EIP turbos and are one of the only importers of EIP kit in the UK, I'm pretty sure they have fitted turbos to VR6 lumps and there work is very good, they may not have fitted a turbo to an R32 but if I was in the market to have mine turbo'd I would be taking it to them. If so your welcome to meet up nearer the time to see what you think. Tim at the Phirm will be building mine if that helps. Its roughly a ten week turn around on ordering the kit, then obviously build time depending on what stage conversion you'd like done. There are currently two US-based owners of the EIP Stage 2 kit on VW Vortex. The guy I spoke with was quite happy to part out the kit as Stage 1 and Stage 2. He had a buyer for his Stage 2 bits but just needed a buyer for the stage 1 parts. The price was good so I looked into where I can get this installed and ultimately it turns out VR6 Specialist in Holland is the best place to go. I continued to look at the other products on offer and spoke with a number of EIP turbo kit owners and have now come to the conclusion that a competitors kit is the way to go. The EIP kit has its plus points but this other option really shines through in all aspects and noone has a bad word to say about them on the other hand EIP have received alot of negative feedback in the past. I wish well on anyone who opts for the EIP kit but for me after due consideration its just not my bag Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
