Motronic v1.7

Anyone know any genius workshops that can remap a Motronic 1.7 for a BMW E30?

I'm going up a bit in CC and CR and suspect I'll need new fuelling maps... Don't really wanna go standalone or piggyback if I can get away with a fresh map on my existing chip.

Cheers!

The plan was FI, but for now the spare engine is just getting a few mm overbore to take the cubes up, and skimmed down to raise the compression. - Won't be that far off the original. Might be able to get away with increasing fuel pressure or changing the injectors, as the basic characteristics will remain the same.

Once this engine's done and in, I'll have a spare on the bench to spend some serious dollar on, with plans for a GT28RS and standalone management. smile.gif

Hi There

We can work on this ECU for you, no problem 169144-ok.gif

If you could send an e-mail to [email protected] with the plans/details for the vehicle, I will tell you what can be done

Will do... Think we can come to some arrangement for TV advertising on the car rather than an enourmous bill? laugh.gif

Engine is being rebuilt/fitted in Kidderminster, so you're at least in the right end of the country. - Basically we're rebuilding the stock lump with custom pistons to increase capacity by about 100cc, and raising the compression ration from 10:1 to about 11:1.
