rabh
A few months ago I went into the dealer to get my rear brake light replaced, because they told me it would be free under warranty (which I was surprised about). At the same time they mentioned it was a new policy by Audi, and that wiper blades were covered as well. Yesterday booked my car in because my wipers were smearing, and when I went in today was told a mistake was made, and that wiper blades arent covered. Anybody know whether they actually are covered or not? Thanks.
Pincher
Wouldn't have thought so - surely they go down as a consumable in the same way that tyres, oil etc are.
Paul
Highly unlikely, but sometimes fitted as a good will gesture.
lesK
I'd be surprised if they were,.......... but if they admitted it was a mistake you were told that, did you try to get them to do it anyway? ( I would have)
Melchior
Wiper Blades are listed as a wear and tear item under my free servicing plan documentation that I received 2 days ago. So I suspect that they would not be covered under warranty either.
Merlot
Sounds like you spoke with a muppet a while back. Did they say that fuel was covered too?
