mpd5
In my 535d you could select a 'birds eye' view of the map giving a 3d perspective. I have heard that this is available on some Z4 systems but is not activated. Is there a 'hidden' menu anywhere? I have seen the activation instructions for sale on ebay so it would seem it is something that may be possible to do.
JAYDR32
I am doing this from memory so could be wrong but I think if you go to set then scroll through to second page it will give you an option to change the view to perspective, it is definitely there as I have set mine to perspective. NewNiceMrMe
It depends on the Nav software version. It should be available on any Z4 M Coupe though I'd have thought, because the version required was released about 18 months ago now. Go to the bottom of the Nav menu, and scroll far right. Perspective is the last option on the list if you have the right software version. If you don't have the version, ask your dealer nicely when the car is next in. Mine was upgraded FOC because the 6 had just missed the revision, but they're entitled to charge for it apparently.
