bRRad
So, anyone had a go in one of these yet? Appreciate they wont be as fast as the Cooper or Cooper S - but changing jobs soon and will need something fun and very economical and so far this may tick the boxes. Been searching for decent reviews but very few that I can find on the net so far - one thing that worries me, and maybe someone can help is the fact that the engine appears to have been brought in from Peugeot/citreon - is that right???!! Can anyone steer me to any decent reviews where they have actually tested the car adn not just copied/pasted promotion waffle? Also if I was to spec one up what are the worthwhile options (bluetooth looks expensive)and what is the satnav like? Thanks

SamD
Not really, I used to have a Cooper S, which was fab, but I haven't driven the updated versions yet
shao_khan
I prefer the newer cars to the old ones. The new Diesels are far better than the out going ones, engine is far more responsive and powerful. I think engines are Peugeot, which wont be a bad thing. Options - Bluetooth is silly money and I dont think nav is worth it either, but the thing with mini is that everything is an option. I'm not sure on the D versions but the S we were looking at had Full leather, Climate, Chilli pack and black headlining - thats about it.
