Headlight bulbs - am I stupid?

Hi everyone, hope you had good weekends. I spent an hour yesterday tackling a blown dipped bulb on the R. Because I am so completely anal about everything matching I bought two replacement bulbs for both sides, but couldn't figure out how the hell to get in there to remove the dead one!!

Can someone help? A quick search on the forums and the internet didn't throw up much (to my surprise)...

That link might help. it's how to swap the xenons for european travel, so not strictly the same, but it has info on how to get at them...

hmm looks a lot more pleasant in there.... hes got a whole hand in there!! which was to be honest my main problem. theres just no room in the r32 to even figure out what it is you need to be tugging at!!! but thanks

Just to add to that, the sidelight bulb holder has to be twisted 90 degrees (either direction) and then pulled out.

Think you can also remove the plastic trim covering the top of the lights as this gives bit more room.
