Gareth
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] GAP is inferior cover to RTI-but dealers push GAP because of the huge commission they get for it....not becuase it's any good. Lombard can offer RTI as a stand alone item for just £8.25 a month and we always mention (but not push) it to clients [/ QUOTE ] Gareth that sounds a very good price [/ QUOTE ] Indeed, very good. GAP is a waste of money (as Adam said) because it relies (if you need to claim) to get into a negotiation/battle with the policy company to the value of the car. alex123fra
I just got a good deal on 3-year RTI through surf and protect (£25,000 benefit) for £207. I had got it through audi when I bought the car last week but they charged me £355 for equivalent cover. Hence I just cancelled the audi RTI. Surf and protect will beat any lower quote by £5 on equivalent policies. I was sceptical but glad I tried it now. £148 just saved
