Maxyboy
Ok, so i decide the car is a keeper, and start to talk about splashing some cash on her, and here's me thinking, she must have heard me, and not really approved of my plans. Cause i take a 5 minute drive this morning and hear a knocking noise from the back, and this is the cause. Plastic fatigue, is that a posibility? And more to the point, will the warranty cover it? RedRobin
....Deffo a valid warranty claim imo. It's something which has happened on a few other Mk5's. That'll teach ya!

petsy
warranty should cover that but be aware that the dealer will have to remove the rear spoiler that is glued on to the hatch. Choose your dealer carefully!
Vagabond
Sods law maxyboy. Pound to a penny it wouldn't have fallen off if you were getting rid of the car
