A6 avant - rear 12v socket ....where is the fuse ?

As per the subject - I can't find a fuse for the rear 12v socket in my avant (C5 A6 Avant)

A 12v tyre compressor failed whilst in use and since then the socket doesn't work. I've checked the fuses but there is only one fuse listed (for cigarette lighters) and the two in the car still work ...so I'm lost as to where the fuse for the rear 12v socket is - does anyone know ?

you might have a wire loose at the rear of the socket itself.

Might be worth taking the socket out and testing for voltage at the connections.

I've had the socket out and the wires are all still connected .......
