[Audi A3/S3] pollen filter

anyone have instructions on how to replace the pollen filter in an 02 s3. read that its in the bulkhead? how do you get access to it etc.

Not sure of the S3 but I have a 2001 Turbo, the pollen filter can be found to the right of the engine bay if your standing in front of car, it is simply a case of lifting the plastic covering which covers the bulk head and replace old with new hope that clear.

not sure if its going to be the same but on an 05 A3 you get at it from the passenger footwell. There will be a piece of foam like cover held on with a couple of big plastic screw things which can be undone by hand.

Then there is a black plactic frame with a slide catch, release that and it drops out.
