Gti_Fly Posted June 16, 2007 Author Report Share Posted June 16, 2007 Luckily our stand was right next to the taps, so cleaning the cars off wasn't a problem.. The problem is, the grass is so wet, that the ground quickly turns to MUD, what with all the footfall etc.. This year they have changed the layout of the stalls (due to critism last over last year), so that they are all clustered together on the grass in a small section (rather than all lined up along side the quarter mile like last year). Being on the grass meant that it all got very muddy and boggy, so most people gave up trying to buy stuff. I feel sorry for the traders. I hope the organisers pull some stops out and re-arrange the layout for tomorrrow!! For anyone that's coming tomorrow - Bring some appropriate FOOTWEAR! But then again, i didn't do too much exploring today, as I was getting really hacked off with muddy feet/soggy jeans. I'm gonna be wearing wellies tomorrow, there aint no stopping me!
