Luck1ng
My dealer has just called and after 2 months wait my ED30 will be ready to pick up @ plate change, Is it worth getting the Supagurd paint protection thing? If so - what price should i be looking to pay? Cheers guys
SL26UK
I payed £250 for Supagurd, to be honest i don't think it worth it, not for me because i wash my car every week
Oli
Supaguard is a waste of money, it costs the dealer about £25, so is major profit for them, and can be purchased on ebay. If you really want it, buy it and get a detailer to do it for you, will come out about the same price as from the dealer, and their wont be a monkey doing it
Simonl
Waste of money IMO. Makes no difference or at best very little difference at all.

TonyD
Agree with the above comments. Bank the £250 and in a year's time get a nice detailing job done on it which will bring it looking back like new again.

Seasider
I ordered my new one last Friday after the previous one was stolen, they told me 16 weeks!!! heartens me to see yours took 2 months. probably giving me the worse case scenario. I had the AutoGlym finish on the old one, I washed it every week and it looked great. probably why it was nicked!

Seasider
The insurance company placed the order with VW in Crewe. Some dealers were saying that they couldn't order one as they weren't making them anymore. Don't know how true that is ...

Seasider
Are they staggering the 1500 Edition 30's right through 2008 then? That could be why the dealers couldn't order one then I guess. Any idea how many have been sold yet?
ekin_88
not sure about the VW dealer you spoken to, but mine said they could order one but not sure, if this is the case of staggering the ed30. you would have to ask them again.
