mark2004uk
I have a 1995 A6 2.0 5 speed manual, I think the automatic choke is sticking, can anyone show me where is is so I give it a squirt with wd40. I keep losing power, I thought it was tge clutch, it also judders like mad. And goes through pertol like mad, so it may be the choke.
Edd_W
There is no choke as such. All Audi's since about 1980 have been fuel injected as your is. I think yours is probably Bosch KE - This uses electronic enrichment controll at warm-up so it is probably a broken wire to one of the sensors or a failed enegine temp sensor. The only other issue is it could simply be the thermostat has failed so the engine is not getting hot enough. Doe the temp gauge work and doe the engine reach normal - aorund 90° C?
