davetez
Just been playing on the VW configurator speccing up a GTI Have noticed the introduction of some tasty new alloys (about time imho) They are called Glendale 19" 2 tone grey rims with 5 black spokes £1005! but cheaper on the GTI 35 (£575) When I come to the sunroof option, a box pops up saying "not in conjunction with Glendale alloys" WHY? shao_khan
Welcome to TSN Dont get me started on thier stupid configurator - both Audi and VW have some stoopid options that must be ordered in conjunction with each other.....:smashfreak:

Maybe the bigger alloys decrease the distance to the Sun, than standard ones, thus increasing the possibility of "Sun burn" through an open sun roof when Glendales are fitted? Sorry best I could come up with, those 19's look feckin awesome in the flesh by the way, not sure how the chrome outers will hold up over time, looks like another 25th Anni wheel problem waiting to happen
Cuprabob
They are lovely wheels in the showroom but as said with VWs history of white worm on alloys I would be nervous.
