Chillihead
Last question before I upload some pictures, current version 2014-2 pro nav, should I get the 2016-2 update from the dealer, are there any major changes?
PeterS
Map updates are included with professional nav in connected drive aren't they? Not sure a trip to the dealer is necessary? a

PeterS
Yes, this is a 2016 car and seems to have automatic map updates. A quick google indicates that this functionality came in late 2015, so your car would appear to miss out by 6 ~ 12 months
NewNiceMrMe
I bought 2016-1 and then 2016-2 maps from www.bmwnavi.co.uk. £40 and work flawlessly.

Are they exactly the same as the BMW version, I've noticed that some have safety camera alerts, do these? last question, does the update integrate with all original functionality? D☺️
NewNiceMrMe
Exactly the same as BMW. No there are no cameras on them - because they're exactly the same maps that BMW provide..... That should also answer your last question.

NewNiceMrMe
I'd be surprised if there wasn't. They cover pretty much every BMW Nav system. Edited August 16, 2016 by NewNiceMrMe
