Barcelona quick question

Have a choice of 3 flights for a work trip arriving on a Sunday:

leave 1pm arr 5ish (not too keen on the early departure from family's)

leave 2pm  arr 6ish  or leave 5ish arr 8pm

i know a few of you have been recently. Anything worth doing late evening Sunday i.e. Worth getting the 2pm flight or should I stick to plan A and just get the later one?

going to duck out of the conference Monday for a while and get a city tour.....

I only just arrived back from Barcelona about 3 weeks ago. Left on a Sunday as you are planning but arrived around 1 pm so settled down then went out for an evening walk around town just taking the sights in along the main strip of Las Ramblas.and down to the pier just before the beach which was pretty close to where we were staying. 

I guess it is still lively and buzzing but not as much as during the week. You will still find stuff to do if that is your thing. We decided to arrive in the afternoon to see whats around and make our plans  from there onwards rather than waste the day by arriving later at night.
