bradeywalker
I know this isn't the most interesting of questions but I need to get one for my Golf and not sure which one is the best. No doubt that some fellow Tyresmokers use them and was wondering if there are any recommendations. Thanks for any replies.
Ian_C
Thank you to Clifford & McGuard if you are talking about locks for wheels not the wheel. If you mean a steering lock, mum uses the classic 'Metro Stoploc' on her shopping trolley, seems to do the trick. Actual steering locks on the cars as standard are easily snapped off, and ironically a steering lock actually makes it easier by aiding leverage. Therefore I put the lock on upside down to most people - put the arm up between the screen and A pillar with the 'lock' end at about 7pm on the wheel, resulting in no play whatsoever. AudiPartner
[ QUOTE ] If you mean a steering lock, [/ QUOTE ] ... try a "Disklok", now available in limited edition chrome finish!! Which I have, and it shows up grubby finger prints so don't bother, get the matt silver one!

Ian_C
Good good. They are designed to 'float' over the wheel offering no leverage aren't they? Much better than the classic Stoploc, although must be a heavy brute! Ian C
ian_m
They are heavy and a bit of a pain if u have a car full!, if its raining tough luck, u have to get out and put it in the boot! But the peace of mind is worthwhile!
