cheechy
Anyone up for a Slap up meal at Mrs Miggin's pie shop? Alternatively we could arrange another meet as a good disguise for getting some quality grub during November sometime? I'm open to venue but have to say I was nicely surprised by last months choice of the buffalo grill in Stockbridge... Discuss.
smurfette
We're up for another get together! Maybe we should go somewhere in Glasgow this time? There's a tasty little place in Xscape at Braehead called 'The Pie Factory' which we could follow up with a little game of Adventure Golf, then have a drink in the bar watching the snowboarders? RossG
LOL - Coming through to Glasgow is exactly what I was going to suggest! X-scape sounds like a good idea - as long as it's not when I'm away and I will most likely be up for it
kermitfrog
X-scape sounds ideal for a meets virgin like myself
smurfette
Ross, what dates are you away? Does anyone have a preference to which day we make it?
cheechy
I'm not around possibly from around the 11th-17th Nov however if this is the range for the most suitable day then go for it. I ask the question on the basis that I feel we need to keep this going
s4_sat
I'm up for this. How about the 6th?
RossG
I'm away the last week or so of November. Probably any night during WC 6 November would suit...
s4_sat
Not the 6th at night. got a previous engagement. Unless everyone wants to go to a Bhangra gig?

smurfette
What about Wednesday 8th then? Trying to suit as many people as possible - any day suits me! Have we decided that Xscape is a good venue? 7.30ish?
s4_sat
Wouldn't somewhere towards the centre be better for those coming from fife etc? Jus trying to make it more central.
TP27
Sorry guys, been a tad busy. That week is difficult as the 8th and 9th are no good for me. If anything changes I'll surely come along but I'll keep an eye on this Thread and do my best to attend. TP.
smurfette
Right, Xscape has been decided as the venue - it's only another 5 mins on the motorway from the centre of town and has plenty of parking. Let's now try Tuesday 7th @ 7.30pm. Who's in? Smurfette Lee RossG

cheechy
Is this going ahead or not? Do we need to book if it is and is there anymore names to add?
s4_sat
So do we have a plan or we jus gonna sit in the car park like a bunch of neds in their novas and corsas?
smurfette
I don't think we need to book, only half a dozen of us on a Tuesday night shouldn't be a problem. The Pie Factory overlooks the Adventure Golf courses so if anyone fancies it we could have a game after eating! I think it's £7 for 18 holes. (I'm rubbish at it but it's a good laugh!) Otherwise, the bar overlooks the ski slopes....
