Hello, my first post! I drive a 51 plate Polo GTi. This weekend I have been experiencing issues with starting the car. I had it checked over, fuel seems to be flooding the car (plugs etc were ringing), but it wont fire. Guy who looked at it suggested it may be some sensor fault. Anyway, I did finally get it started, however after a couple of miles it coughed and spluttered, and lost power. The choke light even momentarily came one. I got it home and it wont go again Does anyone have any ideas what the issue could be? I'm trying to avoid having to get it towed to the nearest VW garage (I'm based in Central Milton Keynes) - so if its a sensor thing I can get an auto electrician to visit me. I tried using the search before posting, honest! Thanks in advance Princess xxx
