Hi Guys, I need to get an car seat for an infant for an A3 Sportback with slippery leather!! It will definately be an ISOFIX one. I have searched the forums for recommendations, but as things change quickly i wondered what people recommended at the moment. I really liked this Recaro one, but a previous thread said it hadnt scored that well in a Which test, and another reply said the test was incorrect and not valid: infant seats - car seats : mothercare Any help gratefully received. Hi guys, My A3 Sportback S Line is Missano red and im very happy with it. However so many Audi's are red these days it made me realise I dont think I can tell the difference. Has anyone got a picture of both Missano and Brillaint red together ? I thought I saw one on here once but I cant find it, so sorry if it has been posted before.

Thats what I thought. Whats all that about a broker? Surely, you would drive it over here, sell it to a Mini dealer for a couple of grand less then normal, get an easy jet flight home, and still be 8k up.

Wondering if you can help. I tried to search the forums but couldnt find what I was looking for. Basically a friend of friend is considering buying a mini cooper s convertible. She has found one in Switzerland, 2006, fully loaded, GB registered. But they only want 6.5K. Basically they have emailed back saying they cant sell it in Switzerland and they will take whatever they can get. I have told them its obviously dodgy, and I remember reading about a few cars in Spain on ebay, but I couldnt find the threads. The email says : The 2006 MINI COOPER S AUTO GREY CONVERTIBLE is still for sale. A great car, never implied in any accident, in excellent condition with full service history. My job put me on the way to England and I purchased this car there. Now I have to sell it as I've got back home in Switzerland. The car is here as well. The final price is £6500 + shipping to your door. For an accurate shipping cost please include your shipping address in your next email. As you probably noticed, the price is rather low. But since it's a right hand drive car, not even a dealer will offer me a better price here. The fact that it's still UK registered did not help either. I am the registered keeper and there is no outstanding finance on the vehicle. The car is in excellent condition, the bodywork is immaculate, no scratches, dents or hidden defects as well as the interior in excellent non-smoking condition. Due to amount involved and due the fact I am not located in United Kingdom, I only accept third party transaction mediator. Its an 8P with the 6 cd head unit (not 6 cd changer, but the upgraded head unit that can take 6 CD's!!) You can still access and change Gala

Thanks for the advice everyone. Just been out for a spin. Played the same CDs that sounded awful, and with Gala off they sound great.

I just went outside and turned off gala. Its not a full test as I didnt actually turn the car on and go anywhere, but it sounded much smoother. Im going out later so will have a bit more of a fiddle with the settings. Considering the bose is 450, plus 300 I think for the upgaded head unit I would expect it to sound better then my home system too. here hoping its fixed. Interesting about the radio and CD lottiefox. My A4 never used to do it, but the A3 does. Also, I just almost went deaf as I selected on volume from the menu and it almost blew the doors off !! I assume thats the maximum it will allow the volume to come on when the Cd starts up ?

Thanks fro the offer lottiefox, It goes a litle bit mad between CD and radio. If youchange to a CD after listening to radio its much much louder and you have to turn it straight down. Thanks for the help,

Lottiefox, it sounds like mine does the same sort of thing when it jsut goes a bit crazy. Sometimes it seems fine. How did you resolve the problem ?

I can still change the gala settings on the head unit, from off, auto to 5. It does "appear to make a difference. Mabe I should just disable it. I also have the 6CD head unit with an ipod adapter. Can i factory reset everything to get it back to standard ?

Gala is when your driving it turns up the voluem right ? Whats DNR ?

Good idea AzureS3 What sort of level do you have the Bass set at. I currently have it at about two notches under the middle setting and it still sounds too boomy !!

Hi Guys, I have had my new A3 Sportback for a couple of months now and I have a nagging feeling Bose was a waste of money or mines broke. I am no audiophile, but the bose system just seems to make a BOOM noise. It cuts in with no subtlty and then out. It seems either on or off. At first I realised someone had set it up almost all the way (it was a few months old ex demo) but no amount of fiddling seems to make it sound good. Maybe thats what its meant to sound like. I know its hard to explain in writting, but it just sounds like a boy racers set up. BOOM BOOM BOOM. I have a semi decent denon home stereo, my only other point of reference and it doesnt sound anything like this. Am i mad and its meant to sound like this, or should I take it to Audi ? any help always appreciated.

Whats the difference between RS4 wheels and RS4 Style Wheels ? Apart from the price I assume !!!

Does anyone have performance figures for the 2.0TFSI petrol V 2.0 TDI 170 including in gear times etc ?? Im really happy with my TDI 170, but it is noisy, and 1st and 2nd gear can be too low when flooring it, but all in all, its a really good package. And the mid range is fantastic
