Thanks to Craigyb and PaulW I was able to upgrade to RNS-e on my 2001 S8. But the DIS shows only radio/CD/mp3 information and no directions. Is there a way to work around this? Thanks.

My RNS-E on my B5 S4 asks for the code as soon as I turn the ignition ON or the lights ON. I Input the code but it does not accept it. If I turn the ignition OFF and the lights OFF then accepts the code and works. I tried resetting it but had no luck. My car wiring is good because I tested it with another RNS-e and works fine. Any sugestions?

Ok, just to make things clear did anybody figure out what the part number is? I an in the US and I am looking to get an RNS-E unit that will fit and work on my car. It has been a while since the last post on this I am hoping someone can give me the answer.. because the revisions P, k, R etc are just upgrafed firmware and sometimes a completely different nav unit. Thanks
