Whilst traveling back from devon after going down there for the weekend for my stag do. Traveling of course at the legal speed limit something hit my windscreen, i was a little upset as the windscreen was chip/crack free. There was a starfish type crack just out of the mot zone. "get it fixed tomorrow i thought" and put the car in my garage. Next morning it had cracked all the way across. Had a bloke out to fit a replacement and he had a right game. He spent 1 1/2hrs trying to get it out until giving up and smashing it out. The car looked like a right scrapper with the windscreen out. all sorted now, just thought i'd share the pics

Mine has started this. I did use it everyday for work and everything was fine. Now the 8 lives in the garage as i'm using the camper for work. It gets moved every other day(ish) when i need to gain access to the garage. I get loads of white smoke which hangs around. After the engine warms up its fine, seems to be only on start up after standing for 48+ hours.... any ideas?

my 8's fine but because of the wedding and my insurance is next week i'm reluctantly taking the 8 off the rpad for a while, so i really need to the bus back on the road asap. i need it for a surf/stag trip to devon in a couple of weeks so that beam better get here soon.

What engine was that on?.... still can't find mine.

The 68 is in bits on the drive while i wait for my narrowed beam to be delivered from creative!. Its been a month now they are so slack:(...... glad you found us here tho, there are some really knowledgeable peeps on this here forum. ant

My air-con is not that cold and a mate has all the kit, so i get a free refill. The problem is we can only find one valve (the one near/on the radiator) my friend is convinced that there should be an upper and lower valve, does anyone know where the other can found? 97 3.7

just had my quote through from herts and its £480.... i was hoping for less to be honest. thats at aged 33, clean licence 1997 3.7 garaged, good postcode, limited to 4000 miles.

little update on my 8, Whilst the car was left on the works carpark(the only place its not garaged). I came back to find a cat had been breakdancing on the boot,roof and bonnet scratches everywhere, my car had near perfect paint!!!!! so i've spent the last few nights and most of yesterday polishing and its come out pretty nice. Also fitted the 20's at longlast. Took them out for 4 mile test drive and the car now creates so much attention. I had 2 sets of boy racers following me trying to get pics on the fones lol(they could catch me tho )

mike, my leak was the sunroof. i've watched the water dripping in when the headlining was down. If you take the passenger sprung handle out and the passenger sunvisor you can pull the headling down enough to see that n/s of the sunroof tray. Fill the tray a little, wait and see what happens. ant Ps why are you running cat5 cables to the boot, only asking as i've got a cat5 patchlead that i ran back to my boot for futureproofing of digi air management.

That competition kit does look and sound good, its an adjustable coil-over and airbag combined its certainly the most intelligent kit i've seen so far. Mike in your next correspondence could you ask Alex for a price for mine? just the business end as i've got the air management, price for the comp series and the standard would be good, if you don't mind. i like the two eared knockoffs too, cheers

i've had some redbands installed on my 20's and had the 356 rims for my camper banded at the same time. Not to everyones taste, i recon they will look when fitted. which will be soon as gritter season is nearly over

Thats it mike you got it! I've got a mate who was selling some 20", brand new no tyres fitted and the same as mine except they have gold nipples..... i think he wanted £450 for them, they were on ebay but not sure if they sold.
