  1. And yes I have used the wrong message to quote, these ruddy iphone's!
  2. Oops sorry mines saloon! There was a 2007 plate touring about a month ago on pistonheads for £35k! Was tempted myself to upgrade...are u aware the inspection 1&2 business doesn't apply on the e60 m5, it's vehicle checks and typical oil/filter/plug and brake change intervals that are shown.
  3. Agree, back then for a Newish one, it was probably the case.
  4. Dear oh dear...trade!! No chance of me 'trading' it in, haven't done that for the last 5 cars! Private sale every time....as for what I'll get...well...let's say I price it as the cheapest M5 on a 55 plate with 40k miles and BMW warranty in the country....and then when someone comes to haggle, I knock of another £2k...not a million miles away really is it? Anyway....mines staying for now anyway :-) unless petrol and servicing costs shoot up ;-)
  5. Lose grand a month? Hmm...Mine cost £25,750 back in Oct 08, pretty confident of a decent return now whilst it has 40k miles...maybe £24k/£23k at worst? Fuel for average miles'ish'....I currently cover about 1k a month at a cost of approx £300...seeing 17.2 mpg with mixed motorway and A/B road hooning...a lengthy motorway run sees 20+ no probs... Servicing £750/£1000 alternating?!!! Where on earth is that info from? - Spent £895 over 4 months and that included 2 rear tyres which I changed early for the winter...nothing due now for 5k miles so approx 5 months 'free' motoring as yet! It is a £70k supercar but to me is just an expensive BMW to service... Don't let the scaremongerers put you off....it's a superb car and not as stupid on servicing as some make it out to be...
  6. Had mine for 2 months tackling speed bumps on a near daily basis....no issues at all....
  7. Does that mean Don't us Revo? Or just no experience/knowledge of them, trying to decide whether to use DMS instead
  8. Am intending to get the remap done meself, have been in touch with Revo about it, have you any experience with em?

    RS5

Already has a lowered sports suspension.......as for the remap I'm considering getting it done by REVO, anyone experience with them? Or would DMS be better?

    RS5

Okay is prob the best word for it!! Superb motorway cruiser but getting to a ton in the 1st place seems to take an age in comparison.....decent to 60/70 but the rest to the ton :-( But then I am constantly returning around 37 mpg driven enthusiatically!! Looks pretty much same in and out......

    RS5

Great car to be in innit? Whilst I have the 3.0 tdi, an RS5 could tempt me back to the RS side and bugger the regular fuel stops
  12. It neither handles nor performs like the RS4 in many respects such as:- the sheer power(obviously, its a diesel!), the directness of the steering along with it's general composure on b-roads....but in fairness to the A5, it very quiet, plenty of oomph for my day to day motorway trips......and it's a heck of a nice place to sit in terms of comfort and general cruising ability....Audi were spot on when they said this was a GT cruiser type car rather than a sports vehicle....... Bit like comparing chalk and cheese at the end of the day, but both cars at the top of the game in their respective markets IMHO........
  13. You'll love it, had mine about 11 days now, and it's a great car, not the same kind of drive as my previous RS4 was but a great car to crunch the miles in along with looking stunning both inside and out.....dare I say, it's get more approving looks the the RS!! more so because the RS was a true petrolheads motor whereas the A5 just looks good to all IMHO...
