  1. Hi. I'm looking at modifying A6 a little bit and wonder where could I buy a full suspension kit (i'm looking at the K&N) as well as the air filter and the chip. I've also just done the 60000 miles maintenance and wonder if after 60000 miles, the car will require a cleanup of the fuel injection or valve adjustment or something. I guess the car's performance is not as good as the beginning so I was wondering if I need to perform these tasks or there is no need to do it. Thanks. Lan.
  2. Hi everyone. I'm looking to get a list of maintenance list (list of items to perform) for the 60000 miles maintenance schedule (96000 km) so that I can bring it to my own garage and have it performed instead of the Audi dealer. Does anyone have such a list ? my car is the Audi A6 2000 with the V6 2.8 engine. Thanks. ps: is it worth spending 300$ for a chip to increase only 11 hp ?
  3. Hi. I'm looking for a place where I can buy a used basic roof rack for my Audi A6 2000 Sedan. If you have any forsale, please let me know as well. I can be reached at [email protected] Thanks. Lan.
  4. Wow Graham. U visited Montreal last summer ? . Yeah, I'm happy that the Grand Prix is back next year too. Were you in Montreal for the Grand Prix ? Next time you're back to Quebec, make sure U also go to Quebec City, and there is also the east coast which is beautiful. It's the Gaspesie region. Look up the Michelin Road guide, they should mention about this region. Btw, if I were to change my shocks, I'll go for the OEM too. I don't like to change for a firmer ride because I like the way how it's confortable currently. Plus the facts that we in Quebec are having bumpy roads because of the winter time, so I don't want my car to queak and cracks in the dashboard. When I test drove a BMW, I found out that because the suspension is too firm, the whole interior queaks and rattles because of the bad road condition we have. Did you have a chance to visit all Montreal yet ?
  5. I think I've noticed that when I take a curve to the left, it's fine, it's when I take the curve to the right that it's bouncy a little bit, could it be possible ? if so, then does that mean I have to change at least the shocks on the right front wheel and right rear wheel ?
  6. The Question is should I change the whole suspension (meaning shocks + spring coils and maybe others) or just shocks ? If one of the 4 shocks are still good (after the test), should I still change them so that it's even everywhere or I can change, say, just the 2 in the front or the 2 in the back ? Thanks for the welcome Sven_S8, and you S8 is nice. Have you taken a look at the newest A8 ? the design is great and was done by a man from Quebec, Canada, the region where I live .
  7. Hi. I'm new to this Forum and hope I can find some information here about my Audi A6 2000 2.8. I find that the suspension on my car has become quite soft now so I can hardly have a sharp turn or corner because the suspension is "bouncing" too much. The car has 89000km. I'm wondering if there is a setting my local dealer and set to re-adjust my suspension or this is a normal behavior for the millage that I have ? Thanks for any help. Lan.
