i'm getting 41mpg after 2500 in the DSG TDI s-line. driving to work its up in the 54's

this is my avus silver, i like it! black an arse to keep clean yep

picked mine up on 2nd may, i was build wk 17 and heres a picture! 1200 miles later getting 47 to the gallon DSG TDI problem with the brakes though when cornering and braking, slit grinding noise, dealer is looking into this, apart from that its top dollar,. got a sline grill badge from vag parts and one for the boot.

i've had that on my TDI DSG s-line. its like the brakes are grinding when applyed heavily, then it goes... weird. i put it down to it bedding in, now down 1000miles. but after hearing that maybe its not.. anyone else?

good to see that but i was build wk 17 and feel a bit screwed, i'm having a boot spolier FOC if it kills me! aint it annoying when new models come out 6months after you buy.... S-LINE DSG is great though, i shouldnt moan.

does anybody have any solid info on the boot spoiler thats suppose come as std on the A3 s-line from build wk 22. i've had mine a couple of wks now, it was wk 17. my dealer reckoned if this is true, audi should honour the spec change and sort one out for me FOC. any info would be appreciated.

i picked mine up on friday, 1st may. its everything i expected, just wished i'd been more sober at the weekend to give it a proper drive! have a look, let me know what you like, avus silver is very nice.

my dealer has just rang and i pick the avus silver A3 TDI DSG S-LINE on friday! i'll get you all some pictures on asap. has anyone else got theirs yet? if so what do you think

just spoken to my dealer and my A3 TDI DSG S-LINE is waiting to be shipped from germany to hull. hopefully have it by the end of the week!!!!! cant bloody wait, i ordered it 17th december 2003. avus silver etc.

you've put me on a right downer now! my s-line TDI DSG is in production this wk, deleivery next wk. i test drove a TDI DSG A3 and prior to that a few months earlier a TT DSG 3.2 both gearboxes seem fine to me and i was very impressed, the 3.2 engine suprised me, maybe its a power thing making the gearbox appear lame on the TDI?? i dont know..

yes avus silver and misano red are offered on s-line deals ONLY my sline is in production this wk, delivery next wk. i'll miss out on any package upgrades audi are thinking of from wk 22. spoke to my dealer though and he reckons if true, they should throw the boot spolier on as a good will gesture, it can be retro fit after delivery....

mines week 17 delivery end of april. arse about the freebie boot spoiler after wk 22. its a £350 option at the mo. might have to talk my dealer round... umm.

alright guys its me again, i posted that A3 picture and its 100% real. i've attached a side shot taken on the same day have a look. the bodykit i think is an ABT one as its badge was on the grill, doesnt the single grill look great! but it was also very similar to the one audi offers at £1500.... and yes the wheels were 3rd party not s-line RS6 ones. had a manchester uk reg. my A3 TDI S-LINE is build week 17 being tomorrow delivery end of april, will put pics on as soon as i collect. this tweaked A3 i've just posted, what colour are we thinking it is??????
