The car has just 17k miles...the gas pedal is "sticky" and causes accelaration to be jerky. The pedal doesn't stick open--it returns to idel position just fine. I tried a few drops of penatrating oil on the piston on the back of the gas pedal that moves into the floor board--didn't help.
