I have just checked all the lights and none on the rear left are working (brake, indicator and reverse).

Hi, please can someone help! I have an 06 Audi A4 Avant and recently a beep staring coming from it when we pressed the brake. After some wondering I realised this was the rear parking sensor activating when the brake was being pressed down. It started intermittently occurring but is now pretty much every time. The follow up issue with this is that when it occurs the left hand rear indicator also bulb also stops working - so I get the rapid ticker when indicating left as well as some really irritated drivers who are behind me! The only thing I could think of doing was seeing if the indicator bulb had died and this was tripping the rear sensor but on inspection of the bulb and swapping it with the right hand rear one the problem is still there. So can anyone advise on what the problem may be and whether there's an easy fix? I'm reluctant to take it down to the local Audi garage for fear of a huge bill for something simple! Thanks!
