  1. I've got an '07 plate, done 55k miles as a company car which I can buy next March for £14k. Will be looking for a buyer then if you can wait?!
  2. Mark, my MkV R32 is in with VW Watford for the same thing right now- they have had it for 2 weeks (the coolant leaked onto the wiring loom and shorted out most of the electrics!) Only an 07 on 30,000 miles so covered under warrenty too. The dealer said the exact same thing to me- first time they have ever had one. Meant they had to remove the engine and the full interior cos it was too badly damaged by the water to be salvaged. Picking it up early next week, just hope it all went back together as well as it came out of the factory!

  4. That is awesome- and glad to see other obsessives like me!!
  5. Or how about a MK IV V6 4Motion? There's one in the classified section for £9500...
  6. A good solution I found, especially for the rubber marks shoes make on light coloured interior is clear nail varnish remover! Simply lightly dab some on with a non-fluff cloth and rub until gone. As always, test it on an out of sight place, but on my VW Golf Mk IV it works really well. Let me know what you think?

    Door Scuffs

Hi all I have a 2004 Golf, with beige leather interior and I have a problem with the plastic beige door trim around the bottom of my doors. I have a few friends (who shall remain nameless) who hold open my door with their foot when getting out. This sometimes leaves a black rubber mark from the soles of their shoes on the beige plastic on the door. Does anyone know of a product that will remove these marks without damaging the plastic? I have tried various interior shampoos such as AutoGlym, but they remain as unsightly as ever. Any ideas?
