Hi there Sorry to answer back so late! Thinking about it now one of my passenger door ,push or pull bit of plastic thats located on the window sill does not move so this may interfer with the central locking----- what do you think? Any way thanks for your help, Martin

Hi there, I will try to keep this simple. To turn the alarm on so that the little red light on the drivers door lock near window flashes I have to press the key ring 3 times. Is this right? I would of thought once should be the norm! So every time I press the key ring the cars central locking is operating- I guess my worry is that I am wearing my central locking 3 times faster than normal!!!!!!!!!!!

I need to get some tyres for my Passat TDI Sport 98, 205-60-R15-91V. Can anyone recommend a good all round tyre, long lasting ect. I am expecting to spend approx £60 each (fitted). I know it's a little tight but they do excist once you get looking on the internet. thanks for help

Hi there, I have recently bought a 1998 VW Passat TDi and this may sound a little stupid, but how can I be sure that my Climatronic system is working! I have just driven for half an hour and during that time I had a lot of condensation on the inside windows that never really cleared! I tried all the different positions in the Climatronic system and it still did not work! I did have a quick check on the carpets to see if there was any water but could not find any. Also is it normal that the fan is quite noisey when in half and full mode. I can hear the fan working but it does feel like more air should be blowing.It also thats quite a while to de-fog the inside of the car! I look forward to hearing from you soon.
