Hi to all, I just wanted to show you guys how I have installed my K&N filter. I dont think this is a thing you need to go to college to be able to do, but anyway I wanted to show pics of KN filter and how thin it is comparing to the stock one. first of all I have pulled out my old stock filter and I have cleaned the housing for a new one: [ATTACH]36402[/ATTACH] this is the difference between stock and KN filter: [ATTACH]36403[/ATTACH] finally, here it is: [ATTACH]36404[/ATTACH] Now, since I was not able to find out, how many HP will I gain installing KN filter, is there anybody who could actually tell us, what are the gains? To be honest, I did not feel any big difference when comparing to stock filter when I am on the move, but since my rubber diagram on stock diverter valve is broken (I am waiting for a new DV to come to dealer in few days) maybe this could be the problem for not feeling any difference in this time. I would also like to ask some experts such as PetrolDave etc about their opinions, could my DV be the problem because I am feeling very bad power in my 2.0 FSI. I have also changed my vacuum valve located on top of the engine since the diaphragm inside was cracked and there was massive air leaking. Thank you all for watching!
