shao_khan
Need a new phone contract, any advise on what is best? Dont send many texts and calls are minimal also - really need a contract to port my number to so I can stay 'obtainable'. The O2 looks cheap at 15 per month for 200 mins and 200 txts but its an 18month contract - seems a bit long.
Sponge
It's just as easy to port to a PAYG SIM, in my experience. I binned my contract for a Tesco O2 PAYG SIM card and it's just the job. I don't text or speak that often. I got the one where you can specify 3 numbers for 1/2 price. Sponge
Yeah, you should be able to. There might be some restrictions on how quickly you could do it. The system probably needs time to keep up with the alterations. But if you're thinking several months down the line, then I don't see there being any problem. My Tesco SIM pack had leaflets and one contained instructions and number to call to commence the port. You'll need a PAC number from your current network to make the transfer. The new provider should be able to handle it all once they have the PAC.
