Damunk
I have found a polo. (yes she crashed) 1.0 litre 3 door. R Reg. One lady owner. 32,000 miles which seems low. The car needs a new door as a car went into this polo. How ever i am more worried about the sill underneath the door. There is a 5 inch dint on the sill... She is willing to sell me this polo for 275 pounds. Do you think it is worth it? And do people know much about the sill.. and is it very important even if it is bent.? many thanks guys n girls
Si_GTi
Re the sill damage, is this dent 5 inches inwards or 5 inches in length along the sill? Either way, sounds like too much hard work too me. If it were me, I wouldn't bother...
Damunk
Thanks for the advice. I decided not to buy that Polo after all. I am currently looking for a second hand polo (1996-1999) I have found a few but I am having problems getting data such as weight and bhp. Can somebody give me the specification of weight and bhp of the following please. 1.4L CL - 3 Door 1.4L - 3 Door 1.4L CL - 5 Door 1.4L - 5 Door What im basically asking is, is 3 door lighter than 5 door and what is the difference in CL? Many Thanks, Fahim
m4ttm4son
I think the CL had a few extras like ABS and power steering. Also pretty sure both L and CL are 8v so around 55-60 bhp. There wouldn't be too much of a noticable difference in weight AFAIK.
