Just a shame my kills / deaths ratio was about 1:10. I've asked a Mod to add me to the gamertag list. See you on-line soon - I'll be the bloke lying on the floor having been shot! Tip: stick with one weapon to start with, try the AK, its fully auto, and then you'll receive additional add ons for it like sights and silencers. Headset useful if playing team game to help coordinate, or to laugh when you kill someone / get killed by someone you know! Practice, and then practice some more. DanG Posted February 26, 2008 Report Share Posted February 26, 2008 I was on, but couldn't join. I guess the way to do it is sit there for 10 mins in an empty lobby and just wait. I got bored though and tried to play a few games. Connection was terrible and often I ended up joining games with only 2 or 3 minutes left to run, which invariably ended after a second or two when it hit the score limit. sidicks Posted February 26, 2008 Report Share Posted February 26, 2008 Ocassionally once I've got to the online menu and selected find game, I get a 'Downloading game settings' message, but then the system just seems to 'hang' and doesn' do anything. I'd previously assumed it was a problem with my internet connection and spent time re-booting my modem and PC etc, but is this what you mean by say there were connection / server problems?? i.e. the problem isn't at my end?! It works as follows: 1) You accept his invite into a private match You then have 2 options: 2a) You find a great sniping position, but before you can kill him, he finds you and kills you 2b) You go looking for him, and he kills you 3) Repeat for 15 minutes........... Last night again I was kicked out of a fair few matches, connection interupted etc. had two games where the enemy simply didnt populate.... and the host ended the game.
