[/ QUOTE ] Haven't been able to play for almost a week now - when I try and go into the 'LAN party' section, it tells me that I am not connected to the interent (even though I am!!). Have had zero problems playing F1 and RFOM on line, so am sure this isn't a problem at my end. I believe the 'patch' is currently with Sony for approval? Hope it's released soon, because it's very frustrating not being able to play with the rest of the TSN gang, particularly now I have played enough to get my rank sufficiently high to allow me to set 'TSN' as my clan tag. [/ QUOTE ] Although the router is on the other side of the house, the PS3 is actually connected to it by wire, as the house is quite new and is full wired-up for sound / vision etc, so I just plug a cable from the router into the wall and then another cable from the PS3 into the appropriate wall socket to link the two. Sidicks [/ QUOTE ] One other thing to point out is that COD4 uses P2P networking to establish games, and some ISPs give P2P traffic low priority, or none at all during key times. It's worth enquiring that your ISP is not blocking P2P. F1, and R:FOM do not use P2P for establishing connections to other players. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

sidicks Posted March 11, 2008 Report Share Posted March 11, 2008 Well, deleting the patch meant that I now have no problem accessing the game lobby to enter into games, but was unsuccessfull in trying to accept all the invitations that were sent my way last night (VorsprungRS4, Hector etc - thanks for the invite, nothing personal, I did try and accept, but i just kept getting error messages).
